Free-for-all Challenge/Boxed cards

As promised, I'm back to share the packaging I made for a boxed set of cards. I plan to post this one in the Free-for-all Challenge over at Jenny's blog, wee memories. You should definitely stop by to check out the challenge, since there are no specific requirements for your creation this week, and you will have a chance to win 3 digital stamps from Softpencil! How cool is that?!

I forgot to take a pic of all the cards together, but you can see 4 of the 5 on my most recent posts! The last one I'm saving for a future post, so you'll have to check in later in the week to see if you can spot it. They all use a similar color scheme: Aqua Mist and/or Ocean Tides, Dark Chocolate, and white, with some Melon Berry and Spring Moss/New Leaf thrown in here and there.

Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Dark Chocolate, Aqua Mist, Melon Berry, white)
Patterned paper: Basic Grey
Stamps: Papertrey Ink (Just for You)
Ink: Papertrey Ink (Dark Chocolate, Ocean Tides), Jo-Ann (white)
Tools: Papertrey Ink (Mat Stack 1 & 2 dies), Spellbinders (scalloped circle die), EK Success (corner rounder)
Accessories: Michaels (ribbon)

I reused one of the clear plastic boxes that some of my PTI stamps came in to box the cards and envelopes. I pulled out PTI's Just for You stamp set and coordinating Mat Stack 2 die to make the white tag, then matted it with a scalloped circle in Melon Berry and some Aqua Mist cut with the Mat Stack 1 die. I put a Dark Chocolate piece of cardstock behind this, rounded the corners, and swiped some white ink on the edges. I cut a slit in each side of the tag to slip some ribbon through and tied it around the package over a wide strip of patterned paper by Basic Grey.

This little set was so much fun to make, and my friend loved it! I will have to do this again soon to use up more of those clear boxes I have stashed away!

Thanks for stopping by today, and if you didn't see my earlier post with one of the cards from this set, be sure to scroll down to check it out. Have a great Friday!

Wow! This is absolutely gorgeous! Those colors together... I'm stealing those, lol. I'm also regretting tossing my PTI boxes! Note to self, next order, KEEP them! Wonder job on this little set!
