A Week of Thanks and Giving--Day 7

Hey there, friends!  It's the day before Thanksgiving here in the U.S., and today I am definitely thankful that the inch or two of rain expected today is not going to be a foot of snow!

It's the last day of my Week of Thanks and Giving here on the blog, and I have thoroughly enjoyed all of your comments and visits.  I will be counting all of you, my dear readers, among my blessings this Thanksgiving!

Don't forget that today is the last day to leave comments for your chance to win on days 1-6, as well!

Now on to today's prize:

This prize package includes lots of goodies for your holiday cards and projects.  There is a wonderful packet of assorted tags, twine, envelopes, kraft paper, and dictionary pages from The Kraft Outlet; rolls of pearls, clear rhinestones, and glittered tape (in silver and white) from Recollections; two 6X6 designer paper pads from My Mind's Eye (Holly Jolly and The Merry Days of Christmas); and a package of Christmas washi tape from Martha Stewart Crafts.

For your chance to win, just leave a comment on this post telling me one thing that you are thankful for, whether it be serious or silly.  All comments must be received by Wednesday, November 23 at 11:59 PM EST (that's tonight!).

Again, friends, thank YOU for stopping by and leaving me lots of love and encouragement every day of the year.  I appreciate you more than you know!

For those of you celebrating with family and friends this week, I wish you safe travels, good company, and a full belly!  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Well, I kept seeing all these fabulous goodies showing up in my reader but wasn't reading the text. Then, today, I decided to pop in here and find out what it was all about, and it looks like I picked the right day. Woohoo! How generous are you, girl?!

I know this is going to sound cliche, but I am most thankful for my family. We've seen a lot of precious couples walk away from their marriages this year and the consequences it has had on their children. And don't hear me wrong. I'm not judging, but I feel like I'm walking into the holiday season with a bit of a hole in my heart. So, this year, in particular, I'm so thankful for a family that loves and lives and plays together all the time!

As a SAHM I'm thankful for a LOT of things, but I'm gonna have to say that today I am thankful for the wonderful world of blogging. Without that, I would probably be less sane! I look forward to readng my google reader like my husband reads the newspaper. I love all the inspiration I get here. Thanks so much!

Christine, thanks for being so generous. They is really so much to be thankful for, but most of all I'm thankful for good health, a loving family (both immediate and extended) and the ability to watch my family grow. Pat and I are always in constant amazement at how our boys change and grow over time. Truly blessed to be a wife, mom and friend.

What lovely and generous goodies, Christina! I am so thankful for my wonderful husband who is also my best friend and the life we've made together and that we both have jobs in this economy that pay our bills and allow us to buy things for our hobbies! Thank you again Christina for the chance, and I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

And of course, all the blessings I have---family, friends, church, and especially my dear little granddaughter, who brings a smile to my face and joy to my life every single day! Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm very thankful this year - I became an aunt to a beautiful healthy baby girl. She is so precious and although my sister and family live across the country, I've been able to go see her several times. I'm very lucky!

Thankful for all the wonderful people I have met though my blog (hi you!), thankful for the wonderful heart of crafters and how giving they are, thankful to be able to touch someone's life with a hand made, personalized card, thankful for my family and the fun in-laws I've gained, thankful for good health, thankful for the beautiful part of the world I live in, thankful for being able to be a mom, thankful for the beauty of nature, and most of all I'm thankful for God, the life he has given me and all he means to me.

Wishing you a blessed Thanksgiving (((Hugs)))!

oh, this question is too hard! I am thankful for so many things (new house, my job, my family, etc) but those are obvious...so I will officially say I am thankful I was able to travel to Ohio this past summer and meet you and Lynn and Suzanne and the PTI dt and attend Stamp-a-faire. It was a pretty big deal for me to just get up and go to something extra like that :) I am blessed :) Thanks for all your goodies you are offering this week :) You are a sweetie!!

I have to say that I am most thankful for my husband. He works hard so that I can stay home, he is my absolutely favorite person in the world and best friend, and he is such a wonderful father to my two boys. I can't imagine my life without his love.

And for something silly, I'm most thankful for the laundry machine. I can load up so many clothes in a single load, I can also wash all our blankets and comforters, and it has a sanitize cycle. just love that thing!!!! ;)

I am thanksful for so many things, but mostly I am thankful for my family. A husband who loves me and our children whio bring me joy everyday. I love them because they are caring, but I also love them because they care for me. I have MS and they all catch me when I fall. Thank you Christina for prompting me to reflect on this.

I just smile when I look at the prizes!

Although I am always thankful for my family, health, and friends, I am also thankful to be a part of this crafting community. It seems like crafters are all generous, kind, and encouraging. I love knowing that I have people I can turn to...even if I've never met them in person!

My 6 year old brought home a list of things he's thankful for and it was such a great reminder on the small, necessary items "I"m thankful for my mom because she loves me. I'm thankful for my spiderman sheets because they are warm. I'm thankful my mom and dad pack my lunch." It was a precious reminder to appreciate the little things that make every day possible.

First, congratulations on your win over at Papercrafts Blog, how awesome is that? Can't wait to see what you do with it. Next, I'm so thankful that we don't have to eat chicken patties for Thanksgiving tomorrow. We had the traditional dinner last weekend and I said to my hubby that I don't know how to cook a turkey and he said that it was ok, we could have chicken patties instead! Ugh! So I convinced him to decide on something else, we'll be having steak.

I'm loving getting to know so many cool people and learning so much from each of them. (I'm also very thankful for my hand me down flannel pajamas that I'm wearing at the moment - it's a bit nippy tonight!)
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and eat some turkey for me please! (And some stuffing. And a bit of pumpkin pie too...) :)
