A Week of Thanks and Giving--Day 6

Hi again!  You didn't think I'd forgotten about today's giveaway, did you?  *smile*

I finally found a copy of the latest Paper Crafts special issue, 365 Cards, and I have an extra to share with one of you!  I love all of the fun and quirky holidays celebrated in this issue.  Every year I make calendars for family members that include obscure holidays, along with silly pictures of my kids.  It's always a big hit, and I'm glad I have some new ideas for this year's edition from perusing the pages of 365 Cards.

For your chance to win this issue, just leave a comment on this post telling me what holiday you would celebrate if you could invent one of your own.  I really look forward to your ideas on this one!  Comments must be received by Wednesday, November 23 at 11:59 PM EST.  Don't forget you still have time to comment on Days 1-5, too.

Thanks for visiting yet again, my friends.  See you back here tomorrow for the last giveaway!

I know there is a Boss' Day so how about an employee appreciation day? Or is there one already and no one told my bosses about it?

I'd love this mag!!
The holiday I'd invent would be happy aunt's day. A holiday for us childless people would be nice :)

Good questions... I think there's a holiday for just about everything out there...but if I were to put my 2 cents in for a national day I'd have it celebrate sending thank you cards, I think the world would be a better place if everyone wrote one thank you card...and mailed it!

As I HATE winter - at the moment I go to work when it´s dark and come home again when it´s dark - I´d definitely celebrate the beginning of spring. The official start of spring would be my personal holiday :-) In fact - it already is :-)
PS: I´d love to win this special issue!

National stay in your pajamas and be lazy all day, day! I think it should be more than once a year, though! Of course I say this on a nasty weather day while I am at work wishing I could be curled up on the couch at home! At least it's a short week! ;) Thanks for the chance at this issue! I love any PC regular or special issue!

I love summer so I'd have a National Summer Day (that I didn't have to work, of course) that was sunny & blue out all day long. Ahhhh....

How about National Reading Day, where everyone is encouraged to sit and read either by themselves or with family members.

Since we don't have any stats in BC until Easter hits, that can be a three plus month without a day off. Since the weather is cold and wet outside and not much fun to go into, how about Jammie Day :) Thanks for yet another chance to win.

I know what you mean about trying to find a copy of this issue, I'm still looking without success! Anyhow I think a "Family Day" holiday would be great, more time to spend just with your family, whether it's big or small, near or far...a day to all get together.

Gosh! That's a toughie! I think that I'd invent some kind of day that was all about cheesecake and flag football and family, and it would definitely take place in the fall. Oh! And no one would have travel expenses or have to buy expensive gifts :).

Aw, what a sweet idea....what holiday would I come up with? How about an unbirthday? You could just have cake, ice cream and presents for no reason at all!!!

Definitely national pajama day! everyone gets a new pair and we can all wear them proudly all day. It would have to take place in the winter since i love warm fleecy pj's. :)
