The 12 Kits of Holidays--June (2 more cards)

Cardstock:  Papertrey Ink (Vintage Cream)
Patterned paper:  Basic Grey (Aspen Frost)
Stamps:  WPlus9 Design Studio (Iconic Christmas)
Tools:  WPlus9 Design Studio (Iconic Christmas dies), Papertrey Ink (Tag Sale #3 die)
Other:  May Arts (ribbon, twine), thread, gem

As promised, I'm back with two more cards for this month's 12 Kits of Holidays.  You can scroll down to my last post to see the first two.  :)

We spent the day hiking and bird watching along the salt marshes on Plum Island, a low-key but wonderful way to spend an anniversary.  I had a few minutes to photograph my last two cards before dinner and thought I'd pop in to share them quickly tonight before the week gets away from me.

The first card makes use of the lovely silhouette images from WPlus9 and one of my favorite layouts for using different patterned papers.  Just lay down a few strips and stitch them together.

Even though I normally shy away from large patterns, I managed to make use of the one below for a quick and easy card.

Cardstock:  Papertrey Ink (Vintage Cream)
Patterned paper:  Basic Grey (Aspen Frost)
Stamps:  WPlus9 Design Studio (Iconic Christmas)
Tool:  Spellbinders (Grommet Tags)
Other:  May Arts (twine), Michaels (bell)

That's it for tonight!  Off to enjoy the last few moments of June...

Christina...I love your tag card! Those silhouettes look so great on a tag. They are the perfect size and I love that you used the red/white ribbon on it too. The bold pattern card is perfect paired with the red twine, like a scene from a Christmas book. I have so missed this group!

Loving your use of the May Arts ribbons, but man oh man is it hot over here, can't think of Christmas.

I love the sweet little scene you created with the first card. So gorgeous...must use tags on my cards more often and you let the gorgeous paper do the talking on the second!

First of all, loved your cards in the first post. The Santa with the birch paper is a favorite and luckily I still have supplies so I can CASE that one! ;) Your card with the carolers is gorgeous--so beautifully done with the tag and that wonderful ribbon. And the second card with that bold paper is perfect! I have a hard time with patterns like that and you used just the right elements. Love the blue bell!

These are just too cute! I love that silhouette carolers against the white tag and your stitching is beautiful. Love them both.

These cards are just fabulous, and totally worth the wait. I love how you stitched the patterns together, and how you were able to feature the bold large pattern in the second card.
