The 12 Kits of Holidays--April 2013

It's time for another round of The 12 Kits of Holidays!  This month's hostess is Sharron, and she sent this wonderful packet loaded with cute images, papers, and die cuts (and she took this month's picture, too!):

I've made 3 cards so far, but I have so much wonderful stuff left to use.  I'm hoping to keep working with this kit over the next week or two like I did with Tracey's kit last month.

I'm battling a sinus infection that has me wiped out at the moment, so I'm going to keep the chit chat to a minimum and just show you the cards:

Cardstock:  Red shimmer
Patterned paper:  My Mind's Eye (Winter Wonderland)
Tools:  WPlus9 Design Studio (Joy die), Fiskars (star punch)
Other:  Michaels (star gems), thread

Cardstock:  Papertrey Ink (Ocean Tides, Pure Poppy), Stampin' Up! (Old Olive), Neenah (Classic Crest White)
Patterned paper:  My Mind's Eye (Winter Wonderland)
Stamps:  Papertrey Ink (Merry & Bright Additions), Technique Tuesday (Jingle All the Way)
Tools:  Lil' Inker Designs (Stitched Flag Sentiment die), Papertrey Ink (Merry & Bright tree die), Memory Box (Resting Birds die), Cherry Lynn (Zig Zag Ric Rac die), Sizzix (snowflake embossing folder)
Other:  thread

Cardstock:  Stampin' Up! (Baja Breeze), Papertrey Ink (Pure Poppy), Neenah (Classic Crest White), Hobby Lobby (silver glitter)
Stamp:  Technique Tuesday (Jingle All the Way)
Tools:  My Favorite Things (Stacking Stars dies), Memory Box (Cosmic Star dies), Sizzix (Snowballs embossing folder)

Be sure to visit the rest of the crew to see what they created this month:

Have a great day!

Another scattered star card! We were all on the same wavelength, but I love the "tweaks" in each layout :) Gorgeous stitched frame on the first, so cute with that homespun paper. Love the way you used the sentiment banner with the printed stitched tag on the tree card...with the teeny red bird! Hope you are feeling better, Christina!

Three fun cards. Love that joy die - I nwo own it, yeah!! Darling Christmas tree and love the mix of stars.

So sorry to hear about the sinus infection - those are nasty things!! The nasal sprays do help curb them if you feel one coming on in the future - have saved me many a time after I had a really bad one years ago. Hugs to you!!

Hope you are doing ok Christina - no chit chat? Your cards don't need any selling! Stunning here. You did so many smart things with this one - the bitty star inside the "o" in Joy? the layered second one - and I swear - the twinkle twinkle with all the stars - never saw that coming! Too cool!

Beautiful bold cards this month, Christina! I really love the star card, all the different colors and sizes of stars are awesome! Then the little bird in the tree is so sweet in the second, and who doesn't love that fun snowman/house scene paper in the first!?
