Curtain Call Act 65 & FTL #123

Hello there!  How's your weekend going so far?  I hope you'll have a little time this week to play along with the Curtain Call Color Challenge!

I won't kid you, this color combo just about got the best of me.  Seriously, a lot of cardstock met an early demise in the making of this card.  Brights are always tough for me, so I finally realized I would need to use a lot of white.  Fortunately for me, the latest Fall-to-Layout at clean&simple gave me a good starting point for my design.

These colors seemed perfect for a birthday, so I designed a party invitation using PTI's Just the Ticket stamps and border die.  I'm still clueless with my hubby's DSLR camera, so I had a hard time capturing the polka dots debossed on the white background.

The presents are just hand cut pieces of cardstock wrapped with baker's twine--they add kind of a fun touch, don't you think?

I left the center ticket blank to add party details later.

Cardstock:  Papertrey Ink (Pure Poppy, white), Stampin' Up! (Pacific Point)
Stamps:  Papertrey Ink (Just the Ticket)
Ink:  Stampin' Up! (Pacific Point, Wild Wasabi), Clearsnap (Cranberry)
Tools:  Papertrey Ink (Ticket border die, Polka Dots impression plate), Spellbinders (circle, scallop circle dies)
Accessories:  Stampin' Up! (ribbon), The Twinery (baker's twine), Queen & Co. (rhinestones)

Be sure to visit the rest of the Curtain Call Crew to be inspired:

Oh, I can totally relate with you on all the wasted CS going into a card. :( But this card is fantastic!!! So much fun! I've been seeing a lot of the ticket stamp and die out there but your interpretation here is my fav!

So cute! I would have never guessed the combo gave you such trouble. I can totally relate to the camera troubles. Even with my camera, that I've had forever, I have problems from time to time. Anyway, the twine on the presents is just the perfect touch! The tickets are just the cutest! Way to go!
