ColourQ #56

Hey there, friends!  I haven't been posting much lately, but I hope to get back into the swing of things in another week or so.  There are just too many things demanding my attention these days, and usually not the things I would prefer to be doing!

One challenge that I hope you will be able to find time for this week is the latest ColourQ Challenge!  Just check out this fabulous color combo and seasonal inspiration photo!

I also used a sketch at Everything but the Kitchen Sink, although I wasn't paying attention to the deadline when I decided to use it, so it has passed.  But it was a great challenge and fun to come up with a way to use it here.

For the main panel, I stamped an image from Inkadinkadoo in Garden Green classic ink and Spiced Marmalade Distress ink on white cardstock.  I wasn't happy with the pumpkin, so I stamped it again onto Pumpkin Pie cardstock, cut it out, and attached it with foam adhesive.  I did the same thing with the flowers, stamping with Versamark on Razzleberry cardstock, adhering, and adding a dot of white Enamel Accents for each flower center.  The sentiment is from PTI's 2009 Autumn Tags.

The background was made with alternating strips of Garden Green and Certainly Celery cardstock stamped with just the vines from the same pumpkin image using Versamark.  I machine stitched the panels for some texture, and because I am so happy to have my machine back after it was serviced!

Cardstock:  Stampin' Up! (Garden Green, Certainly Celery, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie), Papertrey Ink (white)
Stamps:  Inkadinkadoo (Autumn Foliage), Papertrey Ink (2009 Autumn Tags)
Ink:  Stampin' Up! (Garden Green), Ranger Distress ink (Spiced Marmalade), Versamark
Accessories:  Ranger (Enamel Accents), thread

You won't want to miss out on the rest of the Royal Court creations this week!  Be sure to hop on over to ColourQ to check them out and leave the girls some love.  And don't forget to link up your project so we can be inspired by you, too!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!
