Hi folks!  I have some fantastic news to share before I get to my card for today.  Yesterday I was absolutely delighted to find out that I won last week's challenge at ColourQ, which means that I will get to be a guest designer on the Royal Court Design Team until the end of this year!  How lucky am I?!  I hope you will plan to join us, as Arielle always comes up with some fabulous color combos.

Okay, on to today's card, which is for the current CASE Study.  This is the last week for September Muse Mariana Grigsby, and this is her beautiful inspiration card for the week.

I just love the pitcher of flowers, and I was fortunate enough to have won some digital stamps recently from Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps, including this Primitive Pitcher with flowers.  I colored it with my Prismas and cut it out with an oval Nestie.  The papers are from October Afternoon's Fly a Kite.  I used the same design as Mariana's card and included a lace border, because I love how that adds to the homespun look.

Things have been rather busy at home lately and I'm trying to squeeze in some stamping time when I can.  One of the few things I don't like about fall is the way the pace of life seems to speed up again as we rush towards the holidays.  I was in a store today that had a full-blown display of Christmas trees, lights ablaze and Christmas music filling the air.  Seriously?  I'm all for getting my holiday cards done early, but I am quite certain I do not need to shop for Christmas decorations until at least after Halloween!  LOL

Have a fantastic evening, friends, and thanks for stopping by!

Love your CASE. I do need to find time to play this challenge some time. So many challenges so little time LOL! I can't stand how they have commercialized Christmas so much and started it in the stores so early! Drives me nuts! I can appreciate it at Michael's to a certain degree as crafters need time to get their crafts done, but malls? Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now LOL! Congrats again on your ColorQ win :)
