Hi folks!  I'm back with post #2 for today.  I just had to take the opportunity to play along with the Make it Monday Challenge at PTI.  Erin Lincoln demonstrated a fun and easy way to make a card using a group of related sentiments.  After rummaging through my collection, I decided to make a Congratulations card that would work for a graduation or a number of other occasions.

I love the simple design and fun colors of this card.  I stamped all but one of the sentiments onto white cardstock with black ink, singling out one to stamp in orange.  I added a few stars from Star Prints and an Aqua Mist button to balance out the empty corners.

In a happy accident, I originally planned to center the sentiment  panel on the Orange Zest mat, but as I was laying it out it shifted, and I decided I liked the off-center look.  I think it adds more interest to an otherwise simple design.  The panel is mounted on foam adhesive onto a Hawaiian Shores card base.

So glad you could stop by again today!  Thanks again for all of your comments!

I love the offset orange mat--such a great detail and I love how it balances the star in the other corner. The colors are FAB-o-licious together and I adore the way you've placed the sentiments. Bravo!

I like how you didn't center your sentiment panel but off set it! That is a great touch! I loved this challenge but did you find it hard to line up so many sentiment stamps and have them not look crooked?
