ColourQ #68 & Card Patterns #98

Welcome back, friends!  Just popping in with a quick post for this week's ColourQ Challenge.  I hope you'll join us this week!  I used the sketch at Card Patterns, too.

I had quite a time combining the two reds, and especially the Poppy Parade (I'm not a fan of this shade!).  I finally settled on making some rolled flowers with the Cherry Cobbler cardstock, finished with pearl centers that I colored with a Copic marker.  I punched a few leaves and layered them under the flowers on a Martha Stewart lace tag.

The Artichoke cardstock is embossed with SU!'s Elegant Lines folder.  I love this gorgeous pattern.  A Poppy Parade strip is stamped with a border and sentiment from PTI's Mat Stack 1 Collection.

Cardstock:  Stampin' Up! (Always Artichoke, Poppy Parade, Cherry Cobbler), Papertrey Ink (white)
Stamps:  Papertrey Ink (Mat Stack 1 Collection)
Ink:  Papertrey Ink (Dark Chocolate), Ranger (Antique Linen), Versamark, Copic marker
Tools:  Stampin' Up! (Elegant Lines embossing folder), Martha Stewart (leaf punch), We R Memory Keepers (Corner Chomper)
Accessories:  Michaels (pearls)

Be sure to check out what the rest of the Royal Court has designed with this color combo!  Don't forget that we have several fabulous new members who are creating scrapbook layouts with the same colors, and they are sure to inspire you!

We are getting an unpleasant mix of snow and possibly ice today, so I'm hoping to get a bit of crafting done.  I hope you'll have a chance to do the same!  Thanks for stopping by!
