The 12 Kits of Occasions--February 2014

Welcome back for another edition of The 12 Kits of Occasions!  This month's kit was provided by Renee, and as you can probably tell from the beautiful graphic above (courtesy of Kara), our theme is everything SNOW!

Life certainly hasn't slowed down around here in the month since I last posted, but I snuck into my craft room just long enough to make 3 cards with the kit.  Like Renee, I adore the papers from Crate Paper's Bundled Up, so this kit is sure to see more love in the future.

I made a beeline for the teal chevron patterned paper as soon as I unpacked my kit.  This is such a fantastic winter color, and it pairs beautifully with the glittered silver snowflakes.

Renee included some darling die cut snowmen, so I pieced one together and popped him up on a tag.  The kit came with lovely red satin ribbon, but I wound up using some red twill from my stash because it seemed to fit the playful feel of the card a little better.

I don't often do pink and sparkles together, but I had a lot of fun combining them on my last card!

Stop by and say hello to our Guest Designer this month, Judy Marino, then be sure to visit the rest of the 12 Kits crew to see the magic they've worked with their supplies:

Hi Christina! Couldn't wait to see what you made. I love CAS look of the first- the colors are matched perfectly with the silver and all those yummy snowflakes look fab. That snowman on the tag has to be my fave - so cute and the red is so bright! The pink silver and aqua on the last looks so yummy too!

Oh, the patterned paper on your first card is a favorite of mine too. Love your wonderful design! Your snowman is so sweet too. And your stacked 'snows' look SO cool. I wasn't sure about the pink & glitter at first either but ended doing something similar and love it.

Christina for slipping into your craft room you managed to make three fabulous cards. I am always so excited to see what you have done. So glad I still have the teal chevron paper so I can CASE you. Of course you always add that touch of stitching on at least one card--LOVE. Wonderful creations!

I am kicking myself for not thinking to use those snow die cuts all together on one card...wow, that is my favorite Christina! Love the pink and silver together and I also love the little snowman on a tag...cute with the red bow and I think that is even some washi tape along the bottom...great job with Renee's kit!

Christina, I love how we both did multiple snow words on a card. Yours looks so stylish with the glitter paper in the back. Then I'm loving the first card, it is beautiful with the glitter snowflake!
