ColourQ #82

Good morning!  How's your week going so far?  We are still trying to get back into the school and work routines after a long weekend.  But I'm back to share my sample for this week's ColourQ challenge colors!  I seriously thought about taking the week off when I looked at these colors!  Green and I don't always get along, especially several shades of green together.  I finally took my inspiration from the repeating circles in the photo and decided to make my own patterned paper.

I used medallions stamps from WPlus9's Mehndi Medallions to make the patterned strip, then stitched it to a Baja Breeze base that is debossed with PTI's Linen & Canvas impression plate.

For the label, I die cut PTI's Mat Stack 1 from white and Pear Pizzazz cardstock, then cut a window in the Pear label using the Fillable Frames #10 die.  I stamped the corresponding frame through the "window" onto the white label, then stamped another medallion and a sentiment from Signature Series:  Dress Form.

The Pear label is popped up on foam adhesive for dimension.  I rounded the bottom corner and added two green pearls and called it done.

Cardstock:  Stampin' Up! (Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzazz), Papertrey Ink (white)
Stamps:  WPlus9 Design Studio (Mehndi Medallions), Papertrey Ink (Fillable Frames #10, Signature Series:  Dress Form)
Ink:  Stampin' Up! (Always Artichoke, Pear Pizzazz, Baja Breeze), Clearsnap (Moss Green)
Tools:  Papertrey Ink (Mat Stack 1 & Fillable Frames #10 dies, Linen & Canvas impression plate), We R Memory Keepers (Corner Chomper)
Accessories:  Queen & Co. (pearls), thread

I look forward to seeing your creations with the ColourQ combos every week, but especially when it's a particularly tough combo for me!  So get to work and link up your creation for a chance to be named Colour Queen or a Courtier this week!

Thanks for dropping in this morning!  Have a fabby Tuesday!

Oh I love this! These colors are certainly not what I'd put together on my own...that's what challenges are for, right? I love the 'patterned paper' you created!

Love how you stamped all the medallions on the panel, and then perfectly framed just the one, beautiful image! I think your interpretation of the inspiration piece is spot on!

You have done a brilliant job with these colours, and it is especially great as you have used Mehndi Medallions, one of my favourites.
