ColourQ #81 & FTL #136

Good morning!  Are you ready for a new ColourQ challenge?  I thought you would be.  This week Arielle has served up a perfect spring palette in an adorable inspiration photo.  Check it out:

I also used Fall-to-Layout #136 from Clean&Simple.  I wasn't crazy about this card as I was making it, but it has grown on me.

I started by stamping a background from PTI's Background Basics:  Retro in Old Olive onto a white card base.  I thought it needed something else, so I stamped the large dogwood branch from WPlus9's Flora & Fauna I in aqua ink a couple of times.

The sentiment is from WPlus9's Spring Post, with a single dogwood blossom stamped in aqua behind it.  The labels are PTI's Fillable Frames #10 and Mat Stack 1.  The Aqua Mist cardstock strip is debossed with the Woodgrain impression plate, just because I can't seem to put it down!

Cardstock:  Stampin' Up! (So Saffron, Old Olive), Papertrey Ink (Aqua Mist, white)
Stamps:  WPlus9 (Flora & Fauna I, Spring Post), Papertrey Ink (Background Basics:  Retro, Fillable Frames #10)
Ink:  Stampin' Up! (Old Olive), Clearsnap (Seaglass)
Tools:  Papertrey Ink (Fillable Frames #10 die, Mat Stack 1 die, Woodgrain impression plate), We R Memory Keepers (Corner Chomper)
Accessories:  Papertrey Ink (buttons), Stampin' Up! (ribbon)

Do you have any spring or Easter cards you need to finish up?  Or maybe a sweet new baby card or layout?  See what you can do with these colors, then be sure to link it up at the ColourQ blog!

Things will be a little quiet around here while my daughter is home on spring break this week.  Unfortunately we are expecting rain and cool weather most of the week, so I can't just send the kids out to play on the deck while I stamp!  LOL!

Hope the sun is shining wherever you are today!  Thanks for stopping by!

I would not have a clue how to use the chicken wire paper and you have made it sing :) Great card using the sketch and colours! Love the buttons tucked in around the edges.

Christina, as always, this is insanely gorgeous! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how you put the dogwood stamped subtly in the background. And you are THE master of layered frames.

Keep on using the woodgrain plate, it's FABULOUS, I see no reason to stop. ;)

You totally rocked this colour combo!
