A Winner, a Giveaway, and a Thank You

Hello, friends!  Several things to share this morning, so I'll get right to it!

First up, the winner of last week's giveaway of PTI's Year of Flowers:  Daffodil.  I actually figured out how to copy the results from Random.org this time:

True Random Number Generator  8Powered by RANDOM.ORG

That makes the winner #8:  Nancy L!!  Congrats, Nancy!  Be sure to send me an email at maclarenc11@gmail.com with your address, and I will pop your stamp set in the mail.

In case anyone had forgotten or is just tuning in, the occasion for the last two giveaways was my upcoming blogaversary, and today is the day!  It's hard to believe it has only been a year since I started blogging, as I feel like I've known many of you forever.  I am so incredibly grateful for each and every one of YOU, my readers and followers.  I'm looking forward to another year here on the blog, and where that might take me.  I hope you'll stick around, too!

So, dear readers, this card is for you.  It's another reject from the Paper Crafts Go-to Sketches call, but I rather like how it turned out, and the sentiment is perfect for my feeling of gratitude today.

It was hard to photograph, but the right side of the card base is debossed with the Polka Dots impression plate, with a scored line leaving a border down the left side for the buttons.  You can see it a little better below:

All supplies from Papertrey Ink unless noted
Cardstock:  Raspberry Fizz
Stamps:  Signature Series:  Butterfly
Ink:  Frost White (Clearsnap)
Tools:  Polka Dots impression plate, Scoring Board (Martha Stewart), hole punch (Fiskars), Corner Chomper (We R Memory Keepers)
Accessories:  buttons, baker's twine (The Twinery), embossing powder (Stampendous)

Just a fun and simple little card that makes me happy.

Alright, if you're still with me, I have one more giveaway today to wrap up my blogaversary celebration, and I think you're going to love it!  One of my absolute favorite new stamp sets from one of my favorite companies is Flora & Fauna 1 from WPlus9.  You've seen me use it HERE, HERE, and HERE.  I also made THIS gorgeous card set for my Etsy shop.

The illustrations are just beautiful, and I can't wait to see what other flora and fauna Dawn has planned for future sets in this series.

For a chance to win this set, leave me a comment on this post telling me what is your favorite flower.  Mine's the daisy, by the way.  *smile*

This giveaway is open to Followers of my blog, to thank you for supporting me over the last year, and I will be happy to ship internationally.

Thanks again, my friends!  Have a great day!

I love the fresh smell of carnations, but I think I will say lilacs--even though they make me sneeze. They remind me of my grandma.

Awesome card, so bright and fun! I would love to win this set even more than the last one you had to offer. What a nice anniversary gift to us, the readers! My favorite flower might just have to be a stargazer lily, although I love those weeds too when my boys pick them for me.

Congrats on your blogaversary! I grew up north of Boston and then moved to Cape Cod when I was 12 so I adore your blog title! Walking along the beaches collecting sea glass was one of my dad's favorite pasttimes. My favorite flower is lilac and I cannot wait for spring to smell their lovely fragrance. Thanks for the opportunity to win some blog candy!
