Good morning! It's time for another Curtain Call Color Challenge! Aren't these colors so fresh and summery?
I love this combination of colors, but I have to admit my first two attempts landed in the recycling bin! This was particularly challenging because I don't have ink in any of these colors, (or ribbon or buttons)! So I finally decided I wanted to go simple and just highlight this beautiful embossed pattern from Stampin' Up! I have a real weakness for designs that use embossed white cardstock. I just punched three butterflies, added some glitter, and adhered them to the card front. So simple it seems like cheating, but I love the effect.
Cardstock: Stampin' Up! (Wild Wasabi, Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, Pink Pirouette), Papertrey Ink (white)
Tools: Stampin' Up (embossing folder), Martha Stewart Crafts (butterfly punch)
Accessories: Jo-Ann crafts (glitter)
The Curtain Call Crew has samples to show you today, too, so make sure you stop by to see:
