A Week of Thanks and Giving--Day 4

Hello!  So glad you stopped by today, friends.  It's time for Day 4 of my week of giveaways in honor of the Thanksgiving holiday here in the U.S.  If you've missed the first three days, you can scroll down to check out the prizes being offered each day and leave comments for your chance to win.

Today's prize is a particularly fun one, in my opinion.  Have you seen the Smash Journals from K & Company?  I love the concept of having a place to collect random notes, quotes, ticket stubs, magazine clippings, etc.  So I couldn't resist picking up one of these journals (in the Mod style) and some decorative tape for one reader to start their own Smash journal.

SMASH Journal-Mod style
Decorative tape--Black with white dots

I've included links to these items at Scrapbook.com, so you can check them out for yourself.  Just click on the captions above!

Would you like to win your own Smash journal?  Just leave a comment on this post telling me how you collect memories.  Do you make traditional scrapbook pages?  Paste random bits and pieces in a notebook?  Keep photos in traditional albums?  Write in a journal?

For a chance to win, leave your comment by Wednesday, November 23 at 11:59 PM EST.  This contest is open to everyone, regardless of location.  Winners will be posted here on my blog on Friday, November 25.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a good one!

Fabulous giveaway Christina! I've started using Project Life this year and am a traditional scrapbooker for my boy's sports/school books.

How cool... I have been eyeing these smash books in the store. Right now, I actually collect tidbits of memories in my bedside tables drawer...LOL. I think I need to smash them all into a book like this! :) Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Hi!
I´d love to have one of the original smashbooks!
I collect my memories by taking lots of pictures, mini albums and by writing a blog as a kind of creative diary...

Have never made a scrapbook page in my life....maybe once the kids are in HS. Old fashioned here with pics in an album and a ton in boxes. Do a big Christmas letter every year with recaps of highlights which is a journal of sorts and also do write down things kids have done and/or said as well as special things in my life. Now just have to put it all together :)

I have not seen these, just heard about them on blogs...I have done traditional scrapbooks for trips and special events (the wedding took up 3 books!). When my son was born, we still were just using the baby books we had back then :) Otherwise, the blog is a great way to document life :) Thanks for the chance to win!

I used to be a huge scrapbooker but couldn't keep up with it (between job and kids, etc.). Now I am a very happy Project Life user - much easier to keep up with. Love the whole Smash line. I've been using some of the journal cards in my Project Life album and they are so fun!

I put the photos in traditional albums. I have intention to scrapbook. But have not got the time and patience.

Hi Christina! I have been using Project Life and I love it. I use it more like a traditional photo album instead of a daily routine. It is perfect for saving highlights of trips and other fun things; and every few pages I throw in some random shots of the dog for fun.

the way I collect memories is by sticking them in files by theme and then don't really do much with them so this smash book would be perfect for me :)

I started scrapbooking years ago and kinda put that in the back burner a couple of years ago. But I have traditional scrapbooks! Really need to get back scrapbooking and not so much cardmaking ;)

I have read so much about Smash!! I think it's a brilliant idea! You can make scrapbook in a jiffy! I keep the memories with traditional photos and I also make layouts!! We have tons of both! Never have too many memories, right!?

Sadly, I am so poor at amassing memorabilia - I mostly digitally store my photos. Then really don't do anything with them :( I do keep a journal buts it been a bit neglected as of late… must make sure to start it up again!
Thanks for the chance to win! Awesome journal!

FABULOUS giveaway!!! Currently I am terrible about recording memories! Most of our photos sit in file folders on our computer---they're not labeled or anything!!! I really really need to tackle this project some day soon!! Thanks for the chance to win!!!

What a sweet giveaway, Christina! I have really been eyeing these lately! They look like so much fun! Right now I have a drawer that I throw all my memorabilia in, but one day I would love to put them all in something like a smash book. Thanks for the chance and Happy Thanksgiving!

I've wanted to try one of these FOREVER! Well, at least since they showed up on the market :). You know I like to collect memories on traditional, 12" x 12", scrapbook pages; but I also love to journal and write, and I've been wanting to put together mini albums. I've just been dragging my feet over the greater amount of space they'd take up.

Sadly, I don't really collect those things. I do save all my pictures and back them up on a hard drive but I don't really display them. I have tried to scrapbook but it isn't really my thing. I have been eyeing the smash stuff at my local archivers because it holds the promise of non-commital, random ideas gathered together in a book without a huge amount of planning or forsight. :) I have issues, i know.
