Hello there, friends! Have you entered my giveaway yet? If not, be sure to leave a comment on the post here for your chance to win! The deadline is tomorrow (Tuesday) night!
Today's card is for three more challenges. At The Play Date Cafe, they've been touring the globe, taking inspiration from the colors of different regions and this week they are the colors of Tuscany. I paired it up with the FTL 102 at clean&simple, and the butterflies qualify it for the Saturday challenge at wee memories.
I started with a Rustic White cardstock base, so my card looks more cream than white, especially with lots of Chai Tea Dye! I impressed the base with the Book Print impression plate. I used a scalloped circle Nestie to cut the circles from Terracotta Tile cardstock, and an EK Success punch to cut Rustic White scalloped circles.
The large butterfly die and stamp are from PTI. I cut it out from Harvest Gold cardstock and added some shading with my Copics, although I still need to work on blending. The little butterflies were punched from Terracotta Tile cardstock with a Martha Stewart punch and embossed with swiss dots.
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Rustic White, Terracotta Tile, Harvest Gold)
Stamps: Papertrey Ink (Butterfly Dreams)
Ink: Papertrey Ink (Dark Chocolate, Chai Tea Dye), Copic markers
Tools: Papertrey Ink (butterfly die, Book Print impression plate), Spellbinders (scallop circle die), EK Success (scallop circle punch), Martha Stewart (butterfly punch)
Accessories: Papertrey Ink (jute twine), buttons
That's all I have for now. My parents are visiting this week, and my daughter's 5th birthday is coming up this weekend, so I'll have to see how much blogging I can sneak in! I hope you have had a great start to your week! Thanks for stopping by!
