CASE Study #94--Sponsored by Uniko Studio

Happy Thursday--it's CASE Study day!  We're unveiling a new Muse this week, and you're going to love her creations.  It's Joy Taylor of Less is More!

By Joy Taylor

This week we also have a wonderful sponsor--Uniko Studio, which offers lovely clear and digital stamps as well as digital papers.

It's pretty obvious how I was inspired--the lavender color, the background stripes, the banner and butterfly.

I started with a Lavender Moon cardstock panel and scored vertical lines every 1/4 inch, then adhered it to a lavender card base.

I cut out the banner by tracing a circle onto white cardstock and trimming it by hand, then stamped the sentiment and stitched two lines at the top.  The butterfly was stamped on white cardstock, colored with Copics, and fussy cut, then mounted on a lavender doily.

Cardstock:  Papertrey Ink (Lavender Moon), WPlus9 Design Studio (White)
Stamps:  WPlus9 Design Studio (Flora & Fauna I), Papertrey Ink (Through the Trees)
Ink:  Stampin' Up! (Chocolate Chip), Copic markers
Tools:  Papertrey Ink (doily die), Martha Stewart Crafts (scoring board)
Accessories: thread

How will Joy's card inspire you?  I look forward to seeing your creation in the gallery this week!  Don't forget to visit the rest of the CASE Study Design Team and leave them some love.

Thanks for your visit, friends!  See you back here soon!

OMGoodness, look at all those pretty shades of pink!! So pretty and not at all overwhelming. The butterfly placement over that doily is just perfect!

Gorgeous. Love the rounded "banner." And I have that sentiment, but I never remember to use it like that. Beautiful.
