CASE Study #83

Hello, lovely friends!  I'm so glad you stopped by.  I've been having a bit of a rough week, but your sweet comments and visits always cheer me up.  Thanks so much for that!

Want to know what else puts a smile on my face?  A new CASE Study challenge with our Muse, Laura Bassen!  Here's the CAS beauty she's offered up for inspiration this week:

By Laura Bassen

I just love this CAS design, especially the strip of polka dot paper along the edge.  So I stuck closely to the original layout but placed my image on a die cut tag.

The coffee cup and sentiment are from PTI's Heart-to-Heart #1 mini stamp set.

Cardstock:  Stampin' Up! (Regal Rose), Papertrey Ink (White)
Patterned paper:  Papertrey Ink (2008 Bitty Dot Basics)
Stamps:  Papertrey Ink (Heart-to-Heart #1)
Ink:  Stampin' Up! (Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose)
Tools:  Papertrey Ink (Tag Sale #3 die, Sunshine impression plate)
Accessories:  Michaels (ribbon)

I hope you'll leave some love for the rest of the CASE Study Design Team and our March Muse over on the CASE Study blog.

Thanks again for your visit--I appreciate you more than you know!

Have a great Thursday!

Ok, you CASED Laura, now can I CASE you??? I love your card - all of it, the polka dot strip, that textured background, the tag (which I got recently and haven't used yet!) and the fantastic sentiment. What's better than a cup of coffee with friends? Hope some "friend" time will help you through this rough week, and that next week is better!

Sweet card--I love the embossing and the polka dot panel with the polka dot bow! Great colors too--I just used pink & brown on my latest card. There something happy about those colors together. Hope your week is getting better and you have something fun to do on the weekend!

For a coffee stamp addict, can you believe I didn't buy this set!!! Love how you've used it on the tag... having just cut out 100 of those tags, I'm having no buyers remorse.

Christina!! It was the absoslute highlight of my week to meet you in person!! I have been such a fan/stalker of your work for many many months, and I can't even tell you how exciting it was to meet you and your darling friends tonight!! I know Kim really enjoyed meeting you all tonight, too!! What a DARLING group of cuties you three are!! I'm so sorry that you've been having a bad week, but I hope that you had some fun tonight to make up for the bad week. Your card is adorable by the way - your CAS style literally makes me drool!! Absolutely brilliant!!

I love the repetition of the polka dots! (I use dots every chance I get) The background impression brings a lot of interest as well. Love it! Thanks for your encouraging words on my blog. :)
